The Junior League of Lake Charles, Inc., is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

"Life Lessons 101"

A collaboration between the Junior League of Lake Charles, Inc. and Junior Achievement to teach high school juniors and seniors skills that will help them in the "real world" such as financial skills and career planning.


"Lego Motion

The League’s newest project in which volunteers will be collaborating with the McNeese State University Autism Program to assist children with autism to learn social skills through supervised play with LEGO play materials. 


"HELPing Hands"

Works with Read for The Record in the Moss Regional Pediatric Clinic, Plans and Conducts the Art Project for the Chemotherapy Clinic, Administers the "Tiger" Program with Pediatric Patients.

Branch Out and Grow Grant
The Junior League of Lake Charles, Inc is proud to support K-12 educators’ efforts to enhance the educational experience for students through our “Branch Out and Grow” grant program.

This program may award grants for up to $5,000.  All grants shall be used for projects serving youth K-12 that fit within our vision of strengthening and enriching families. All school system school-based professionals are eligible to apply.
